Method validation requirements: Past and Prospects

22/05/2019 11:49

Why are Standard Methods so important?

Because they are essential tools to create a sound basis for any wheat or flour trade agreement.

Standard methods, like those developed by the ICC organization, precisely describe the procedure and provide precision data such as repeatability and reproducibility. This very serious validation process guarantees that these international standards are reliable, fit their intended purpose and that results obtained are meaningful and appropriate in order to make decisions. Following these methods ensures that operators respect the procedures recognized by international experts and thus, enhance customers’ trust.
